About me.

Hi there, I’m Karlo – a UI/UX/Experience Designer from Sydney with over 5 years of experience. I’m passionate about speaking with users to understand their world so I can craft meaningful, impactful designs tailored to their needs.

I started my design journey after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Technology. I then pursued a career as a Senior Visual Designer and eventually became an editor for the Yellow Pages (remember those?). I held that role for nearly a decade.

I later had the opportunity to pivot in my design career and began working as a UX Designer after completing a Graduate Certificate in UX and Web Design. I’ve been fortunate to work as a Senior Design Consultant for Readify, which was later acquired by Telstra Purple. I say fortunate because I had the chance to work closely with clients from diverse industries and technologies.

Outside of design, I’m passionate about football and boxing, and I even moonlight as a boxing photographer during events. I love spending time with my family and chasing after my 3-year-old daughter, who is as passionate about Peppa Pig as I am about design.
